I have a duel JD/MPA from Florida State University. This is a law degree and a degree in public administration and policy. I am interested in working in public policy, specifically legislative and regulatory affairs. The benefit of having a law degree is that I can read and understand statutory language and understand how it may cause issues with judicial interpretation down the road.

I've worked as a policy analyst in the Executive Office of the Governor with a focus on state and local bills.
In addition I have interned with both the US Attorney's Office and The Children's Campaign. I was the policy lead on the Juvenile Justice work at the Children's Campaign, including research and bill drafting for their model juvenile record legislation.
